How do I search for a place on rent ? |
||
| By filling in the necessary information on the Search a place text box and selection list and click "Search". Only "State" is a required field. For a broader search, see question 2,3 for answer. | |||
| 2 | How do I search for all rent ads in 1 state ? | ||
| You can broaden your search by searching only by "State" by leaving the other fields empty and by default the Type Of Rent will be "All Types" and Rental Price would be "All Range" . | |||
| 3. | How do I make specific or non-specific searches ? | ||
| By specifying you search, you will be return only results that suits your search. By non-specifying it, you will return more results. You can make a more specific or non-specific search by either filling in or leaving blank the Area and City Town text boxes. You can also chose from All Types or specific types of Rent and All Price to specific prince range for Rental Price. | |||
| 4. | How do I get more information on the Rent Advertisement I like ? | ||
| If you want to know more about the Rent Advertisement you like, simply click on the Address hyperlink, and a new window will appear with more detail information, including the person to contact. But if it is a "BID" advertisement, you will have to bid for the contact information. See question 5 for answer. | |||
| 5. | How do I make a bid for the Rent Advertisement ? | ||
| You can make a bid on the Rent Advertisement by clicking on the "BID" picture located and the contact column. You have to be a member to do this. Register for free and enjoy this feature. | |||
| 6. | What will happen after I make a bid on the Rent Advertisement ? | ||
| After you make a bid, your information regarding your bid price, and personal information will be revealed to the tenant to review. You can edit your bid record in MyFreeRentAd:Bid. The tenant will make a final decision and will inform the winner by e-mail to contact him. And the Rent Advertisement shall be closed. If the winner does not contact the tenant for a period of time that the tenant decides, he can still reopen the bid and chose another winner. | |||

How do I search for a person seeking rent ? |

| People can post their "seeking for rent advertisements" for a tenant to find. By filling in the necessary information on the Search a person text box and selection list and click "Search". Only "State", is a required fields. For a broader search, see question 2,3 for answer. | |||

How do I register as a Member ? |

| By clicking on the "Sign Up Now" picture at the main page, below the member login panel. | |||
| 2 | What are the steps in registration to be a member ? | ||
| There are 2 steps to registration to become a member. It is very simple. In the first page, you will need to key in all your necessary information such as memberid and e-mail before proceeding by clicking the "Register" button. Next you will need to go to your email account and retrieve our e-mail to finalize your registration by clicking on the hyperlink provided. | |||
| 3. | Will my information that I enter during registration be kept confidential ? | ||
| Your information shall remain private and confidential and will be use according to the terms and conditions of the Registration Agreement. We are here to provide a community service to the new web community. | |||
| 4. | I've registered as a member, what is next ? | ||
| You can start posting your Rent Advertisements, People Advertisements or Bid after you go to "MyFreeRentAd" section. | |||
| 5. | What if I forget my ID/Password? | ||
| You can retrieve your ID/Password from us by providing us your e-mail address. We will automactically send an e-mail for you to check. You can find this feature by clicking on the "Forgot ID/Password" hyperlink located below the member login panel on the main page. | |||
| 6. | I can't login, it prompts me a password error page, what should I do? | ||
| Have you completed your registration? See question 2 for more details. Or make sure that you are entering the correct ID and password. To confirm, you can request your ID and password to your personal e-mail address (see question 5). Our site uses session cookies to keep track of your login. If you are still having problems , maybe you would like to check your Internet Explorer ->Tools->Internet Options->Privacy settings. Our site works fine in "medium" setting. Or you might try opening a completely new browser window and type our web address to begin again. | |||

What are Rent Ads ? |

| Rent Ads are Advertisements you create to be posted on this website for people to search in the search a place section. Rent Ads are mostly advertisements that contain information on places up for rent,it's details and whom to contact. | |||
| 2 | How do I post a Rent Ad ? | ||
| Simply click on the "Post Rent Ad" hyperlink that are available given in most pages. You have 5 records you can post. Fill in the necessary information and click "Post Rent Ad". | |||
| 3. | How do I make my Rent Ad a Bid Advertisement ? | ||
| If you want to make your Rent Advertisement a Bid advertisement, don't forget to check the checkbox "BID" before posting your ad. If you want to change an existing Ad to bid see question 4 and 5. | |||
| 4. | Where do I maintain, edit, delete my Rent Ads ? | ||
| You can maintain, edit, delete your Rent Ads at "MY RENT AD" located below the Post Rent Ad page. Or you can go directly to this section by clicking the hyperlink specifying your total rents at My Free Rent Ad section. Click either to edit or delete your Ad from the Action buttons provided. | |||
| 5. | I can't edit my Rent Ad, why is this? What should I do ? | ||
| You can't edit your Rent Ads after someone has viewed or bided on your Ad. All you can do if you really want to change the information is to delete the whole Ad and post it again. This is to avoid abusing the features of the website like changing the price of rent suddenly to cheat a potential rent seeker. | |||
| 6. | How do I view who is bidding on my advertisement and how do I chose a winner? | ||
| Once a person has bided on your advertisement, you can go to MY RENT AD and click on the specific record hyperlink "view bids" to see who is bidding on your advertisements. To select the winner, simply click "view details/grant winner" button and 3 e-mails will be sent. 1 to the winner with your contact information. 1 copy for your reference, and 1 for our safe keeping. You can reopen your bid if the winner does not response to you for a specific period of time you decide. | |||

What are People Ads ? |
||
| People Ads are Advertisements you create to be posted on this website for tenants to search. Instead of you doing the searching, sometimes tenants will find you by your People Advertisement. People Ads usually contains information for the place a person is looking for, including the details and his contact information. | |||
| 2 | How do I post a People Ad ? | ||
| Simply click on the "Post People Ad" hyperlink that are available given in most pages. The default is that your People Ad is "disabled". After filling in your particulars, click "Enable" and your People Ad will be posted on the website. | |||
| 3. | How do I edit my People Ad? | ||
| You can maintain, edit your People Ads also at the "Post People Ad" section. Or by clicking on the hyperlink given at MyFreeRentAd stating you have "Enabled" your people ad. Update your particulars and click "UPDATE" . | |||
| 4. | How do I delete my People Ad from the Website ? | ||
| You can delete your People Ad by clicking Disable button in "Post People Ad" . Once you done this, your advertisement will be remove from the search people area. You will need to fill in your particulars again if you want to post a new People ad. | |||

| Making, maintaining Bids | |||

What is a bid ? |
||
| A bid is a function that allows you to place a request on the contact information of a "bid advertisement". | |||
| 2 | How do I make, maintain a bid ? | ||
| See Search A Place : Question 5 on how to make a bid. You can maintain your bids in MyFreeRentAd: Bids. You can view what is the latest highest bidding price and edit your price anytime in this section. Or you can delete your bid. | |||
| 3. | How do I know if I'm the winner? | ||
| You are declared the winner of the bid if an e-mail is sent to you. The e-mail will include the contact information of the tenant. Please contact the tenant as soon as possible, as this e-mail does not guarantee that you will remain the winner. If the tenant cannot wait for your reply, he can still reopen the bid and declare another bidder the winner. | |||
| 4. | The Ad I bid on is close, what does that mean ? | ||
| This means that the tenant has declared someone a winner and his bid advertisement is now close and no more bidding is allowed. You can delete your bid or in some circumstances wait for it to be reopen by the tenant. See question 3 on why a bid can be reopen. | |||
| 5. | The Ad I bid on disappeared from "My Bid on Rent Ad" profile, why is that ? | ||
| The Ad disappeared because the tenant has deleted this bid advertisement. Either because he has close the bid and receive feedback from the winner or he already does not need the ad. | |||
